Engine Control Panels

A Motor Control Board (MCC) is used to control some or all of the electric motors in a central location. It consists of multiple closed sections with a common power bar, and each section is in turn composed of motor starter, fuses, circuit breaker, etc. An MCC may also contain push buttons, indicator lights, variable frequency drives, programmable logic controllers, and measurement equipment. It can be combined with the electrical service entrance of the building.

MCCs are typically found in large commercial or industrial buildings with many electric motors that need to be controlled from a central location, such as an electrical room.
